Mule Deer HUNTS
At the Express UU Bar Ranch, vast prairie grasslands, oak and pinyon-pine covered mesas, and beautiful ponderosa pine forests provide excellent habitat for a wide variety of huntable big game species.
Our goal is to offer exceptional quality in all of our hunts. While we can't guarantee the success of your hunt, we can promise to make it one of the most memorable hunting trips of your life.
ALL MULE DEER HUNTS INCLUDE
New Mexico State Hunting License, Private Land License and NM Habitat Stamp.
Lodging and meals.
Guide service and On-site transportation while on your hunt.
Field dressing and caping out your harvest to your specifications.
Transportation to the local processor, and local taxidermist.
Not included in the cost of the hunts are:
Meat processing.
Taxidermy costs for mounting or tanning of the hide.
Guest fees for non-hunters.
Gratuities for guide, cook, and housekeeping.
2024 MULE DEER SEASOn DATES
Both our Mule Deer Trophy and Rut Hunt Packages consists of a six-night, five-day all-inclusive package. Arrive the night before between 3:00 and 5:00 pm. Hunt five full days and depart after breakfast on your sixth morning. During your stay you can enjoy beautiful accommodations and gourmet meals. The number of Mule Deer Rut Hunt Packages is extremely limited. Please call for availability.
Our Management Mule Deer Hunt Packages are four-nights of lodging, three-days of hunting, all-inclusive packages. You will arrive the night before your 1st hunt day between 1:00 and 5:00 pm. That afternoon, you will meet your guide and other hunters, sight in your rifle, settle into your room, and have dinner at our lodge or at our famous Saint James Restaurant. Your hunt lasts three full days. Your departure will be after breakfast on your fourth morning.

MANAGEMENT MULE DEER HUNTS - Rifle Only
Our Management Mule Deer hunts are one of a kind. In order to improve the genetics of our mule deer herd, in 2016 we began this "Management Mule Deer Hunt". During this hunt we are focused on harvesting bucks that do not exhibit the normal mule deer antler pattern of two forks on each antler. During your 4 night - 3 day hunt, your experienced mule deer guide will point out bucks that fit our criteria of management deer. We also offer a 5 day Combo Hunt for both Management Mule Deer and Management Elk.
